The Association of Alcoholic Drinks Distributors (AADD), within the framework of its principles and in application of the commitments it has undertaken for consumer protection and information, proceeded to cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, in order to sponsor an awareness campaign on responsible alcohol consumption.
This is the second time the Association joins its forces with the Ministry of Health on consumer protection matters. The first was in 2005 when theAssociation of Alcoholic Drinks Distributors, signed a joint Statement of Principles and Self-Regulation Plan, concerning Alcoholic Beverages Promotion and Consumer Awareness, along with the Management of the Ministry of Health and the Cross party Parliamentary Committee on the Study and Resolution of the Drug Issue.
ANT1 TV also participates in the campaign, demonstrating a special sensitivity to the joint effort of the Ministry and the AADD by setting itself as communication sponsor. During the first phase of the campaign, two TV commercials will be transmitted by the channel's frequency. The first aims at the sensitive social group of minors and the second at the Greek families.
The Campaign will last throughout September and will be completed and supported in due course by targeted actions of awareness rising and education on the important matter of responsible alcohol consumption
